1. Start with a Bold Anchor Piece
Every great display, whether it’s for shelf styling or a console table, needs a focal point that captures your attention and anchors the set.
In our Earthy & Charcoal Vase Set, we sourced a stunning Tan Aztec Vase to act as that central anchor. It introduces a bold Aztec pattern and a strong silhouette that beautifully contrasts with the other pieces. To complement it without overwhelming the eyes, we paired it with a charcoal and dark brown tinted glass vase.
The Secret: Balance a bold pattern with a more minimalist or solid piece to keep the look striking but grounded.

2. Repeat Key Elements for Cohesiveness
The decor should look like it belongs together. The trick is repetition of certain design elements.
For our Black & Neutral Vase Set, we’ve decided to repeat similar shapes. We’ve paired two vases - one black, and one off-white that feature similar handle shapes. This repetition gives the arrangement a balanced, intentional feel without being identical or matching exactly.

3. Mix Materials and Textures
If everything in a set has the same finish, the final look can feel flat and lack energy. Mixing textures is a great way to create depth and visual contrast.
- Smooth vs. Earthy: We paired the sleek, smooth texture of the ceramic diamond-design vase with a textured terracotta vase.
- Speckled vs. Clear: We paired a smooth speckled vase with a dotted glass vase.
By playing with how light hits different surfaces, the combination instantly elevates a room.
